About Me...

I come from a family where food was important, not just the fuel for life, but the stuff of celebration and solace. We were always trying new things, reviving old recipes and experimenting. I studied Hotel Management, but quickly realised that the creativity of the kitchen was where my true passion lay.

It is a huge privilege to be invited into peoples lives to cook for them, sometimes for years, sometimes a week or just  for one occasion.

​

I have cooked for a wide variety of clients in many different venues; stately homes, country houses with fantastic kitchen gardens, a fort, a castle, a chateau and on private estates.

​

I've worked in a writer’s residential creative studio, a spud pub in Ibiza, I have catered for large groups in remote locations, assisted Jackie Kearney, “the hungry gecko,” with her wonderful Asian street food at festivals and ran a delicatessen.

​

All of this experience this has taught me to value the freshness of ingredients, to be imaginative and creative,  even when miles from shops and reliant on what is to hand.

​

I love making my own jams, chutneys, preserves, smoked salmon, sausages and baking bread. Simply put, I love feeding people.
